hello

lovely to have you here

The design of this site is a fun reminder of a time when web design had no rules: you could put all of your content into a tiny box in a corner or place two navigation bars on the opposite edges of a screen. Old HTML table layouts were usually built in a program like Photoshop and exported into slices, then put into position with HTML. (So far, it's also the only way I know how to make websites T_T)

The main challenge, of course, is that it's not accessible at all. The lack of alt text, contrast, the navigation, and a lot of other factors, are just off. But I'm hoping to learn how to:

  • 1. modernize the HTML/CSS and
  • 2. make the tweaks for the site to be fully accessible.
